Questions about vehicle tracking
Do I need a smartphone to use vehicle tracking?
The Jendie tracking app runs on iOS and Android smartphones. Fleet and business accounts can also use the platform from a web browser.
Is there an ongoing fee?
Tracking uses a mobile data connection and the Jendie platform, so the service is sold as a package that covers the hardware, platform access and support. Your quote states the price and what it covers before you commit.
Will the tracker drain my car battery?
A correctly installed tracker draws a small amount of power. Our technicians wire it to suit your vehicle and check the connection at installation. If your battery is already weak, tell us and we will check it first.
Can I track more than one vehicle on one account?
Yes. Several vehicles can sit on one account, which is how fleet customers start. See fleet management for larger operations.
